Happy Docs provides several documentation and knowledge management services to young tech startups worldwide. Each startup is unique and requires different types of solutions and care. At Happy Docs, we tailor our services meticulously to each company's needs and requirements to achieve the end result - an empowering knowledge experience for the user without slowing down the rapid startup growth.

Branded Knowledge Base

We provide you with a beautifully designed, branded, client-facing knowledge base that will allow your users to learn more about your product, troubleshoot issues on their own, and become a skilled and active user.

How does it work?

  • We learn the product and your needs, analyze the information and provide you with a time estimate and a pricing quote. 

  • If everything aligns, we continue to the creation phase. We will need access to your brand assets (logo, color scheme, etc), access to your product, and of course answers to arising questions. 

  • Once done, we deliver the keys to the knowledge base to you for future upkeep and maintenance.

Problem Solving

Companies approach us with specific issues they are experiencing that can be solved using knowledge management and documentation. Here are a few examples:

  • Support overload - if you are constantly investing more and more funds in expanding your support team, you could be having a knowledge management issue that can be solved using the proper knowledge strategy.

  • Low conversion and engagement rates - your product is live but your users can't get past the onboarding phase? You released a new feature but engagement is not taking off? Guidance and documentation can help users get past difficulties and increase engagement.

  • UX copy confusion -  maintaining a consistent UX tone and voice is not an easy task. We can help you set up and organize your UX copy library with the right tools and work processes.

Knowledge Base Maintenance

We maintain your knowledge base on a bi-weekly basis with feature updates, new help assets, etc. It's on us to manage the knowledge base and make sure your clients get the best and most accurate documentation experience.

 

Note: We only maintain knowledge bases created by us. 

 

How does it work?

  • Based on the size and scope of your existing knowledge base, and the speed of feature releases, we provide you with a monthly retainer quote.

  • An expert technical writer will be dedicated to maintaining your knowledge base twice a month (the average length of a SaaS dev sprint).

Documentation Review

A complete, top-to-bottom inspection of your existing documentation setup. This includes understanding the way information flows inside the company, from Product to R&D to documentation and other employees, as well as a thorough examination of your knowledge and information structure. 

The result of this process is a comprehensive report providing a summary of the existing situation, the current and expected issues, and how to fix them.

How does it work?

This is a traditional consultancy format paid by the hour. Hourly rate: $215 including VAT.
